We do not require you to ask permission to do anything with your cat. We do not have a mile long contract with threats of what you can and cannot do with your cat. We hope that you are a responsible pet owner and you take your cat to the vet a minimum of once a year and provide the best home possible. We know that when you spend your hard earned money on something so precious, YOU will do the right thing and give it a life of love and companionship that it deserves. We do our very best at screening each potential buyer so that we do not feel the need to tell you how to raise your pet. We discuss all of the important information you need when taking on this huge responsibility prior to any transaction. If we feel you are not the right candidate for owning one of our kittens, we will be honest and disclose our feelings and conclusions with you. We will not discriminate against you if you are a breeder or want to possibly breed in the future. Every single cat breeder started out as a newbie and no one is above the other when it comes to being new and learning. I say these things because of what I have read online when researching and learning myself. There are a LOT of arrogant cat breeders (as with any industry) and some feel they need to control what you do with your cat AFTER YOU own it. What we do require however, is that you come to us if you have questions, concerns, need help, or our favorite…. want to share stories of how your cat has grown and funny quirky mishaps as they all have. We will offer a life time of support and friendship, not dictatorship. We will also take our kittens back if you find yourself in a situation where you are no longer able to keep it or care for it properly.
RegistrationKittens can be sold as either pets only or with breeding rights as well. All of our cats are CFA registered, and so are the kittens. If you need TICA registration, it's easy to transfer CFA to TICA. We do sell with breeding rights but you must let us know this before purchasing. We do not greedily raise our prices and discriminate against breeders. We all began somewhere.

What to expect...
Our cats are all well known at our local veterinarian office as they see them for health checks, maintenance flea and tick prevention if needed (Revolution) if they are walked outdoors, ultrasounds, X-rays, and vaccinations. Our vet office is Tender Care Animal Hospital in Peoria IL. We work with three veterinarians and love them all! We have echos done annually at the University of Illinois through the cardiologist, Dr. Fries. He keeps their hearts in check and guides us on what is best for our breeding program for our Maine Coons.
If you are looking for a companion pet, these guys are the greatest! They are beautiful, sweet, spunky, and of course mischievous. What Maine Coon isn’t? If you have never owned one before, and want to, be prepared for a wonderful future but they do keep you on your toes! Before owning Maine Coon cats, I had no idea how different they were from the average house cat or even the pedigreed Persian cats we have owned! Their personalities are much different (in a good way) and they are almost like a dog! Our cats love attention and our big boy Pawzilla likes to give me hugs. He will literally stand on the bed and reach up to me and wrap his arms around me as he nudges his face on me like a child would. Gotta love these guys!
Size is certainly not what we were most interested in when we purchased our cats. Health and personality came way before the size. Size is what Maine Coons are known for and they are big, but don’t let that be your determining factor when picking out a cat. In fact, be very careful when purchasing a Maine Coon that gets grossly huge as this can be a recipe for poor health and heartache in their future. Our cats range from 10 pounds to 20 and with all that hair, they look so much bigger. Also keep in mind that they can grow still and gain weight well into their fifth year. None of our cats are that age and we do see them gaining weight still. Maine Coon cats have a very distinctive look to them. Ours are European Maine Coon cats and have more of a feral look to them. They have large ears with the tufts like a wild lynx cat. Their muzzles are larger and more protruding than most cats and this makes them look majestic and even scary to someone who is not familiar with the breed.
If you haven’t read already, our cats were purchased from breeders in Russia and imported over to the United States. This was prior to the war in Ukraine so we did not have issues getting them. It is not the easiest way to obtain a pet but it worked for us as we had too many difficult breeders here in the US we were looking to buy from. Unfortunately, some breeders are very competitive and like to raise the price on you because you want to breed your cat. Lots of breeders also like to tell you what you can do and how to do it when it pertains to a cat purchased from them. I feel this is unacceptable. I don’t buy into greed or support these types of breeders so we took to the internet and searched out breeders who were more humble.

Contract Details
We guarantee our kittens to be free of hereditary defects and illness. They come to you current on vaccinations at a minimum age of 10 weeks. However, sometimes 10 weeks is too soon for some of them. You might notice that we do not post our kittens for sale until they are older than that. We let them go when we feel they are healthy and ready to leave us without stressing. They are free of Felv/FIV and we expect you to keep them safe and clear of these illness’ when they leave our home. Because we entertain the thought of possibly keeping a kitten in the future, we sometimes DNA entire litters. If this happens, we will provide you with those results on the kitten you purchase from us (free of charge).

Research and Veterinarians who specialize in nutrition will prove this. Vets who do NOT specialize in nutrition do not have the education to state otherwise. Again, we understand it isn’t for everyone and it is very expensive so we compromise and keep the hard food available when kittens are old enough to eat it until they go home.

Prices, Deposits, & Picking Up
Our prices start at $3500 for a Maine Coon kitten. This can increase with Polydactyl kittens, male gender, certain colors, and eye color. If you want to reserve a kitten, the non-refundable deposit amount is $500. This applies to the balance of the kitten. Balance is due upon pick up of the kitten. If a transport is used, kittens must be paid for in full before leaving our home. We also have a $100 paid Waiting List if you are interested in reading about it click here.
